Why we number things
30 JUN 2026A serial number is a small promise: that this object is one of a finite set, that somebody counted, that somebody will remember. Chapter 00's First Coat is an edition of three hundred because three hundred is the number our atelier can make without compromising a single seam — not one more.
Notes from the quiet year
02 JUN 2026The house was built in eleven months of early mornings — patterns, rejections, four sampling rounds in Porto, one abandoned fabric that taught us what the chapter actually needed. None of it was posted. This journal is where that record now lives, after the fact, the way records should.
On heavy fabric
12 MAY 2026Weight is honesty. A 480-gram hoodie hangs differently, ages differently, asks to be kept for a decade. We weigh every fabric we consider, and we publish the number on the product page, because a material you can verify is a material you can trust.
